And from Tanzania, Tracy Nabukeera, Miss World Tanzania has boldly withdrawn from the international pageant happening in a few weeks.

In actuality, Tracy is Miss World Tanzania 2023 and she won several prizes when she was crowned that year. So her expected representation of Tanzania in India came by appointment. However, the young lady is dissatisfied with the organizers of the event in Tanzania.

According to Tracy, she is not getting the support she needs for a successful outing on the world stage. And so because of this lacadeci attitude, she does not want to do a poor assignment in India.

That this is coming up at this time, and from Tanzania, a country which is not a constant at the world stage, shows pluck. Ms. Nabukeera even states in the message pasted on her Instagram page, that it was a huge decision to make.

Of course it has caused quite a ripple in the entertainment circle of Tanzania and all of Africa. Thus cutting down the African representatives to the pageant, to, fifteen.

In closing , she said she would continue her assignment as queen and her community projects on course. But going to represent Tanzania at Miss World 2025, was completely out of the question.
