All the queens at the just concluded Miss Universe 2022/23 competition were awesome. I bet if the judges had their way, every one of them would wear the crown.
They all deserve the crown. However, meeting new people and making great friendships is the real deal at these pageants.
I always like to remember that Miss International 2021 said, the courage to join the competition makes everyone in the race for the crown, a winner.
Miss Dominican Republic, Andreina Martinez was not only second runner-up. She won awards for Best Evening Gown and Best Swimsuit. She was to represent her country at the Miss Universe competition in 2021 but she was down with COVID-19 and the first runner-up came in her place.
This year, she attended and excelled. She had sufficient time to do a great job.
Miss Universe South Africa-Ndavi Nokeri was my first major assignment on the beat. She gave everything she had. She has two more events to bear her country’s flag and really wish her the best. She shares birth date with one of my favourite persons too.
Miss Trinidad and Tobago , Tya Jané Ramey made top 10 at Miss World 2019 when she was twenty-one years old. She also received ‘Continental Queen of Beauty ‘ award.
