Miss Malumbo Mtong qualifies for Miss Culture International after Miss Culture Malawi 2021 win.
According to their official website, MISS CULTURE INTERNATIONAL is a platform created to empower and showcase beauty and fashion talent globally. Its head office is in Cape Town, South Africa but operates in other countries in Africa and globally through national directors.
Its core focus is to bring together women from diverse cultures to learn from each other and find common ground in pursuit of a transformation and change agenda.
Miss Culture International organizes and manages quality pageants in order to unite people from diverse cultures, learn from each other, and celebrate different cultures through beauty and fashion.
For 2021, at the moment there are already eleven queens who have been selected who are:
- Miss Culture South Africa: Ms Ntombifuthi Mabena
- Miss Culture Rwanda : Miss Furaha Appoline
- Miss Culture Zimbabwe: Miss Pauline Deborah Marere
- Miss Culture Kenya: Miss Shelvine Adhiambo
- Miss Culture Sierra Leone : Miss Nyamakoro Marrah
- Miss Culture Zambia: Miss Idah Bibusa Muke
- Miss Culture Botswana: Miss Goratamang Monwametsi
- Miss Culture South Sudan: Miss Eman Abon
- Miss Culture Ethiopia: Miss Jerusalem Tamire Hailey
- Miss Culture Nigeria: Miss Bright Basset Uko
The lastest crowned queen for the contest is Miss Culture Malawi’s 2021 Miss Malumbo Mtonga. According to 247malawi, 25-year-old Malumbo Mtonga has been crowned Miss Culture Malawi, during an event that was held last night at Amaryllis Hotels in Blantyre.
Mtonga who is a model at Star Modeling Agency beat up 9 contestants who reached the finals.
Mwasalipa Mfune came up as the 1st Princes while Murimu Kachitsa finished as the 2nd Princes.
The event was spiced up by performances from Sangie, Wendy Harawa and Macluther
Speaking after the event Miss Culture Malawi marketing and public relations director Chimwemwe Buleya thanked all the participants and the partners for making the event successfull.
Miss Culture International Cheif Executive Officer Lorraine Kljajic was one of the notable guests who took part in the event and said she was impressed with how the event was managed.
Coming up on 2 July 2021 is Miss Culture Congo Brazzaville which will decide who represents Congo.
